Ferrari extended its dominance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2025 with a third consecutive overall victory, as the No. 83 Ferrari 499P entered by AF Corse and driven by Robert Kubica, Philip Hanson, and Yifei Ye crossed the finish line first. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 hybrid engine, the race-winning Hypercar has been recreated by Sunny78 as a detailed 1:12 scale papercraft.
The model requires 20 sheets of paper and measures approximately 42 cm long, 17 cm wide, and 10 cm tall when completed. It focuses on faithfully recreating the Ferrari 499P's distinctive exterior while leaving out the interior to keep the project manageable. The compressed archive includes two PDO files together with a DXF folder for machine cutting.
Like many of Sunny78's papercraft projects, this release comes with a small puzzle instead of a plain archive password. To extract the files, builders need to solve the following challenge:
🔐 Sunny78's Password Challenge
X ÷ Y = 499
X × Y = ?Hint: Do you remember what engine the Ferrari 499P uses?
Everything you need to know is summarized above. The template package is available in the download section below.
